Who are you and what did you do?
Hello! We are Top House. We are a musical trio with humble origins in Missoula MT that has since moved to Nashville TN. Our music has filled the air of some of the world’s most prestigious venues including a parking garage, William’s living room, and the Top Hat lounge in Missoula. Recently we released a full-length album called Hopes & Fears; a years-long work that seeks to express the struggle of leaving everything behind to pursue one’s aspirations.
How is your workspace setup?
We have a studio in what used to be a horse shed. Inside is basically an amalgamation of gear that we’ve accumulated over the years. It’s the space we use for both recording and practicing primarily. In Nashville, William has a small desk with an eGpu he uses to make videos.
What hardware do you use to make your content?
MacBook Pro, Focurite Clarette Audio Interface, Yamaha Studio Monitors, Neumann microphone, Rode microphones. Lots of other little things, but these are the most often used.
